CONTACT LENS CLEANING AND CARE GUIDELINES

1. Wash and dry your hands before handling your contact lenses.
Use lanolin-free soap and a lint-free towel.
2. Wear and replace your contact lenses according to the schedule prescribed to you. Keep your contact lens case clean.by rinsing with fresh solution after each use,
then letting it air dry . Replace the lens case every two to three months.
3. On removal of your contact lenses, carefully clean them as directed.
It is recommended that you apply a few drops of your solution to the lens and gently rub the lens from the center to the edge for 10 to 15 seconds,
then briefly rinse the lens with your solution.
Then place the lens into the lens case with sufficient solution to cover the lens.
4 . After applying your contact lenses, rinse the lens case with your solution and allow it to air dry. Always use fresh solution to ensue maximum disinfecting power.
Do not re-use or top off the solution in your case.
Avoid touching the tip of the solution bottle to any surface.
Saline solution and rewetting drops are not designed to disinfect lenses.
5 . Remove your contact lenses before swimming or entering a hot tub.
Remove your lenses and consult our office if you experience symptoms such as redness, pain, tearing , increased light sensitivity,
blurred vision, discharge or swelling.
